One Semester of blogging silence + One semester of writing thesis - still recovering from the summer of undiagnosed mono, multiplied by my contract at work not being renewed and no raise for me completing my master's degree =
A useless M.A. in English, an unwillingness to work at unrewarding job, and an overall feeling of desperation which is not being cured by my glass of white zin, the friends in the other room, or my work-eat-sleep life.
But I've got my education you say? Show me where that matters in the real world of petty, piddly-paying Christian colleges and low-income Arkansas chicken communities.
Sigh. Just bumming on a Friday night when I'm supposed to be out in the living room celebrating my "new degree."

I have a friend with multiple degress, my just a two year diploma. It really buged her when I was making more than her. If money and education lead to happyness we'd be there by now.
Good news is nothing goes to waste, it all works for good in the end. Course that can take decades for us to see.
